A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Mechanicsville, VA. This contract role supports K-12 students across various caseloads and ages within public schools. The assignment runs from January through May 29, 2026, with the number of schools assigned to be determined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments, therapy, and intervention services to K-12 students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and onsite facilitators to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to student success.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Virginia SLP license required.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, with caseload management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and school staff.
